The Election was held on the 24th anniversary of Kobe Bryant's NBA debut

 

I turned on Zach's livestream at work for about 20 minutes today and someone called in asking about the Election and Kobe Bryant. 

Kobe's first NBA game was on 11/3/1996...which means the elections was exactly 24 years before Kobe Bryant's first game....Notice 11/3 is a span of 24 days after the Lakers won the NBA Finals too.
