Cleveland Indians 1960 trade of Rocky Colavito, Manager and Coach-Hurricane Lane-Tropical Storm Gordon

I was looking at some of my old blog posts and saw the one about Hurricane Lane in regards to Frank Lane who traded Rocky Colavito. 
I noticed that later that year the first  and last ever MLB managers were traded too. 
Notice the Indians manager was Joe GORDON.....
This just has me thinking of Tropical Storm Gordon that came after Hurricane Lane....


The trade came 108 days after Rocky Colavito was traded on the 108th day of the year. 
Rocky's bday is 10/8 or 8/10 as well. 

Remember Lou Boudreau was the coach of the Cubs that year...it was also the year of the worst ever recorded Earthquake....

I see they also traded coaches this year as well..so something to keep an eye out for with the names of the coaches. 


Also with the national anthem stuff I was thinking last night about the Cubs.
