On Thursday I was looking at videos on Facebook and a clip of Dumb and Dumber came up where Jim Carrey talks about Big Gulps.
As I watched the clip, I felt like I had a Mandela Effect with the clip and even told my co-workers how I don't remember it the way it showed.
For years I've been saying "Big Gulps, Ayy.
But if you watch the clip, he actually says, "Big Gulps HUH.
I'm not saying this an actual Mandela Effect, as I could've remembered this wrong, but I've been saying it this way for years. It makes sense considering Jim Carrey is Canadian too. Think about the South Park film making fun of Canadians saying "Ayy."
I'm only bringing this up, because last night a clip from Dumb and Dumber showed up on my phone with the scene where Harry has the shits, and I showed Zamien the clip thinking he would laugh. Instead, he told me that it wasn't funny, and I told him that there's no way he could be my kid, and not think that scene is funny.
Anyway, after I showed Zamien the clip, I went and DJed at the bar. When I DJ in town, I usually just leave my equipment and get it the next day. So tonight, I went to the bar and loaded my stuff, and ended up staying and drinking. I then left to the other bar, and started talking to a group of kids at a table. Because of DJing, I pretty much know everyone around, so I randomly talk to tons of people and such..but the point is that I went to the table, and they started saying, "Big Gulps, Huh, Welp, See ya later." I then went on about how I had just watched that scene and thought it actually said "Big Gulps Ayy" and not "Big Gulps Huh."
Thursday, the day that I noticed the Mandela Effect was 4/17, which is 122 days after the anniversary of "Dumb and Dumber" releasing.
Dumb and Dumber=122
Who knows, I'm too tired to look more at this, but I just cannot escape the synchronicities, so I had to blog about this. It seems that I have a lot of Mandela Effect syncs around this time of year too..Multiple times I have documented about the Mandela Effect in late April and it's usually synced to the Kentucky Derby...be hilarious if we get horse names like Lloyd and Harry or something this year.
