Tide Pod Challenge Going Viral-The Moon effects the Tide

I was thinking about the "Tide Pod Challenge" that went viral and also how the Super Bowl put a big emphasis on the "Tide" commercials. 
Is this a clue for something in regards to the MOON? 
The Moon supposedly effects the Tides on the Earth's oceans...
