Now we get a story about Brandon Roy being injured in a shooting in Los Angeles.
Of course he's from the Seattle area and notice the reporting was by Steve Bunin of KING 5.
KING 5 is called that because of KING County.
He was shot in Los Angeles over the weekend but we are just now getting the story in the mainstream on 5/3.

Notice Steve Bunin also has a connection to Houston. He worked for ESPN and then was lead anchor for Comcast Sportsnet Houston until 2016.
Brandon Roy known mostly for playing with the Portland Trailblazers. He had to retire because of his bad knees and now he gets shot in the leg...lol.

Thinking about the Trailblazers and the Spurs it reminds me of Spurs LaMarcus Aldridge who used to play for the Trailblazers.
His poor play in Game 1 against the Rockets was the big talk in regards to the Spurs loss in Game 1.
The Blazers also remind us of Clyde Drexler who went to Houston and won the Finals. Roy tied Drexler for winning 4 Western Conference Player of the Week awards.
