King Charles II was king during the Great Plague of London

I saw someone post on Facebook this morning about King Charles II being the first to social distance people during the plague. I couldn't find exact proof, but he was the King during the bubonic plague in 1666. 
Interesting there was a the Great London Fire at this same time...
Think how Prince Charles is important to this narrative...He would be King Charles III....
King Charles II died on 2/6 which is the same day Elizabeth II became Queen. 

King James II(Charles brother) was the last Catholic King.
