Montero's Grand Slam Game 1 Cubs vs Dodgers...Cleveland Indians
Last night Miguel Montero also hit a Grand Slam in the 8th inning making the score 3-7.
Montero=37
If you include the end date it was even 3 months 7 days after his bday.
He's 33 years old, the score was 3-3 before he hit the grand slam.
Born on 7/9.
Eighth Inning=79
The guy pitching was Joe Blanton.
Joe Blanton=108
Notice yesterday was 57 days before his bday.
World Series=57
Montero's Grand Slam was the 3rd time ever that a Pinch Hitter in the post season. The other guys were Ricky Ledee and Mark Lewis.
Notice Mark Lewis began and ended his career with Cleveland. It even says he hit 48 HR's in his career.
He also hit his Grand Slam in 1995 which is the year the Indians went to the World Series and lost to the Braves. The Indians last won the World Series in 1948 when they beat the Braves who were from Boston at the time.. Ledee's Grand Slam was against Boston Red Sox who the Indians beat in a 1 game playoff in 1948 before going on to beat the Braves.
Ledee also played for the Indians in 2000. He only played 17 games with them before being traded again to the Rangers. Notice his final game with Cleveland was against Toronto. The Indians won 10-3 which reminds me of the Cubs winning 103 regular season games this year. "Billy Goat"=103
His first game with the Indians was against Minnesota who I've talked about is part of the coding but not directly.
His record with Cleveland was 9-8 and his last game with them was their 98th game that season.
Ricardo Alberto Ledee=91=Chicago Cubs
Of Course after this grand slam Fowler hits a HR as well. The make sure to let us know it was "Back to Back" which is a theme I've been following since January. I had thought it was for the Golden State Warriors but...
Cleveland Cavaliers=69
Back to Back=69
Pinch Hitter=67
Cleveland Indians=67
