Kevin Garnett Retires after 21 years

Kevin Garnett retires after 21 seasons. Go figure he would retire after 21 seasons. I talked about his connections to 12 and 21 over a year ago. 

Notice he retires 1 month 2 days before the anniversary of his ex coach Flip Saunder's death as well. 
Remember Flip Saunder's became the head coach of Minnesota on the 21st game of Garnett's rookie season. 
Minnesota won 21 games the season before and finished 12th in the West. Even finished the season against the "Spurs"=21
Garnett wore # 12 for 12 seasons before leaving to Boston. 
Saunders originally fired by T-wolves on 2/12..2005. 

Garnett was the original Teen Wolf of the NBA. Last year(2015) just after the Teen Wolves Lavine and Wiggins did well in the All Star game Garnett was traded back to the Twolves. 
Then Flip Saunders dies just before the start of Garnett's 21st season.

Moses Malone played pro basketball for 21 seasons. He holds the record for most offensive rebounds in a game with 21. Started in the NBA age 21. His first game was actually when he was 21 years old 212 days and his team beat Milwaukee by 21 points. 

When he played for the 76ers he average 21 points 12 rebounds. 
Also finished his career with the "Spurs"=21  U=21  Spurs knocked out of playoffs this year 21 days before the Finals. 
Duncan # 21 retired on 7/11. 

Garnett retires 2 months 12 days after Duncan.
